  Difficulty:  Advanced

  Distance:  Approximately 36 Miles

  Clearance Issues:  NO

This trail begins about 45 miles south of the rodeo grounds and south of Alpine near Horton Creek.  The Bill Stinson Memorial Trail will take you into some rugged bear country where Ben Lilly was known to track some of the last grizzly bears in Arizona. Some of the sites on this trail are Horton Creek, Hannagan Meadows then east into the Willow Creek drainage areas and is rated "advanced" due to very steep, rocky terrain. Elevations reach up to 9,000 feet.  This ride is dedicated to Bill Stinson who was instrumental in helping get the first ever Arizona ATV Jamboree off the ground - Bill passed away a few days after it was over, losing his valiant battle with cancer.  Gas and snacks are generally available at the Hannagan Meadow store.
