This trail begins at the Williams Valley Staging Area approximately 30 miles south of the rodeo grounds.  The trail goes past the lonely grave of Oscar Schultz, a German immigrant that was desperate for money to send to his sick mother back in Germany. Being refused the money locally, he robbed the bank in McNary and rode his horse from McNary to Coyote Creek where he was shot and killed by the posse that was pursuing him!  After leaving "Oscar's Grave," the trail leads into the upper Campbell Blue area south of Alpine.
